The Bridge Between A Blog & The Big Time

Sharing is caring!

For a lot of people, being able to make money through something like a blog will probably sound far-fetched. Of course, to achieve something like this, you’ll have to gain popularity, fighting for the top spot amongst loads of other blogs. This will be a long journey, with most people doing it for fun rather than trying to make a living. With this approach, though, it can be impossible to find the next step you need to take when your blog reaches this level. To help you out with this, this post will be exploring some of the common routes which people will take when starting their career as a blogger.

First, though, it’s a good idea to consider the reasons for this kind of action, as this will make it easier to drive yourself in the right direction. Making money through a blog certainly has its limits. At a point, the number of users you’re gaining won’t impact the income you generate through your website, and some change will need to be made if you want to stay afloat. In a lot of cases, this will involve adapting your business entirely.

The Communicator: Being able to convey ideas through the medium of blogging is one thing, but being able to achieve the same goal while speaking is something a lot of people lack. This makes online video makers and TV presenters incredibly valuable, while also adding value to the industry. Using a service like Effortless English most people will find it nice and easy to improve their speaking skills. This can give you the core skills you need to forge a career in the field of communications.

The Author: Of course, with the skills you’ve gained a writer, you may not want to throw away your pen and paper just yet. Instead, the idea of writing a novel or two will often appeal to people who enjoy this craft, as it will use the things you’ve learned. The hardest part of this sort of aim is getting published. If you don’t mind sticking to the digital, though, options like Amazon’s Kindle service can be great, as the fees are very minimal.

The Influencer: Influencer marketing is rapidly becoming the most popular way for businesses to get the word out about their work. Loads of companies have started using methods like this, paying bloggers and other social media giants to review and use their products. To be part of this, you may have to do some hunting and will need to approach your options directly. As time goes on, more and more services are coming about which make this easier, but, for now, at least, you have to do all of the legwork.

Hopefully, with all of this in mind, it should be a lot easier for you to start moving your blog into the big leagues. A lot of people fail to consider action like this, leaving their blog to gather dust and become stagnant. Of course, though, with the right effort, it shouldn’t be too hard to take it to the next level.

Have you tried any of these options in the past? Do you monetize your blog?  Would you consider blogging as a career? Please share in the comments below. I really would love to know.

Until next time, shine amongst the stars!
