Two Weeks, Nine Pounds, and Breathing Easier: My 100-Day Lock-In Update

I can hardly believe I’m typing this, but today marks Day 15 of my 100-Day Lock-In. If you’ve been following along, you know I started this journey on February 27th with a lot of fire and a very specific plan.

Well… life happens, and sometimes your body has a different conversation with you than the one you planned in your head. I sat down with my doctor, and we had some real back-and-forth talks. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t exactly happy at first. I wanted to go hard, but she reigned me in to make sure I was doing this safely. We settled on a temporary “middle ground” of 2,000 calories, 135g of protein, and 25g of fiber.

As long as I had my protein, my fiber, and my steps, I told myself I was going to make it work. And guess what? It worked better than I imagined.

The Big Wins (And the One That Made Me Cry)

In just 14 days, I am down 9 pounds.

Seeing that number move is great, don’t get me wrong. But the real “shout it from the rooftops” victory? I haven’t had to reach for my rescue inhaler once. For me, being able to breathe clearly while I’m hitting the pavement is a gift I don’t take for granted. It’s proof that when you fuel your body right, it starts to thank you in ways that have nothing to do with the scale.

Looking at the Numbers

I’ve been tracking my steps religiously. Some days I felt like a marathon runner, and other days… well, let’s just say the couch was calling my name. But I stayed consistent.

Total Steps: 122,748 Daily Average: 8,767 steps

I’m really proud of that average, especially since I’m still finding my rhythm. My sleep, though… that’s been the struggle bus. I’ve only been getting 4 to 6 hours a night, and I know I can’t sustain this high-frequency life on that little rest.

The Next Phase: Locking In Even Harder

After my follow-up today, my doctor gave me the green light to move closer to my original vision. We are checking in every two weeks to make sure I’m staying healthy, but here is the plan going forward:

I’m nervous, but I’m excited. These first two weeks proved to me that I can do hard things. I’m sticking to my non-negotiables and trusting the process.
