Making money blogging is the best thing ever! In three years, I’ve gone from blogging as a hobby to making over $30,000.
There are several ways to make money blogging. I’ve listed 7 of the most popular ways that you can get started making money blogging NOW.

1. Affiliate Marketing
You can make money blogging by selling other people’s products through affiliate sales. There are countless affiliate networks you can join online, such as:
This is how some bloggers make their money, including me! I average around $1,200 monthly from affiliate marketing.

2. Advertisements
One of the most direct ways to make money blogging is through advertising. All you have to do is put ads on your site. There are many ad networks, like Media.net and Google AdSense.
Bloggers make money from the clicks and views that happen on their site. This is how most bloggers start to make money because it’s pretty easy. The more your blog grows, the more money your advertisements will generate. I average around $300 monthly from ads on LavandaMichelle.com.

3. Virtual Assistant
You can make money blogging by doing Virtual Assistant work. Bloggers can make money servicing other people’s blogs or sites. My 16-year-old daughter makes a wonderful income after school and after homework as a Social Media Virtual Assistant.

4. Freelance Writing
Freelance writing is a great way to make money blogging. Although you are not blogging on your own site, you get paid well to write for other blogs and sites. I personally average $125+/post. I made $1,475 last month. However, one of my pupils made $4,650 her first month with her freelance writing of blogs. WOW!

5. Selling Your Products
You can make money blogging by selling your own digital products. Digital products include selling printables, eBooks, infographics, and courses. You can create anything that is downloadable and then charges money for it. It’s amazing!
People make thousands of dollars a month alone by selling their own digital products and physical products (their swag). I am looking forward to presenting LavandaMichelle swag, just finalizing the designs. This is definitely a money-maker! Last month I made $4,650 my first-month selling digital products.

6. Sponsored Posts
Sponsored posts is another way to make money blogging. This means you’re paid for promoting someone else’s product, brand, or service. This usually comes in the form of writing reviews however, I make money by offering backlinks to various sites and products. I make over $1,500/month from sponsored posts alone.

7. Get Paid to Write Reviews
Similar to sponsored posts, you can also make money by writing reviews on your site for a fee. You can approach companies on your own to ask about doing paid reviews. With this method, you get to try out products related to your niche for free, and get paid for writing a review. The process for doing this should be similar to getting sponsored posts. You and your audience will benefit from the review of products that are relevant to your niche.
