It’s great to see a post like this! I joined Bluesky last week (following you). I’m finding the atmosphere much more cozy and supportive. There’s a really big writing community over there right now too.
I recently joined in the Bluesky trend. I’m not sure how much I will use it but it looks exactly like twitter aka x. I like threads but I don’t have a huge following at this point. Then I haven’t heard of the other two platforms. I’ll have to check them out.
While I still have my twitter account, I am not using it anymore for the reasons you mention. I will just leave it there hoping for better days for now.. And I did hear about BlueSky as a good alternative though I am already on threads
