I made it through the first week of the 75 Hard Challenge—and wow, what a week it’s been!
The week started off with a storm—literally. There was rain, then fog, and finally, on Day 7, sunshine. That burst of light felt symbolic. It reminded me that even when the week is mentally and physically tough, there’s always clarity on the other side if you just keep going.
Despite the weather shifts, I stayed committed. Two workouts a day. A gallon of water. Healthy eating. Reading. Progress photos. No cheats. No excuses.
The Honeymoon Phase
Right now, I’m still in that honeymoon phase of the challenge—feeling motivated, inspired, and excited to show up every day. The habits are slowly forming, and I’m starting to feel the results.
Weight Check-In
Even though I originally told myself I wouldn’t track my weight during the challenge, I decided to sneak a peek… and guess what? I’m down 7 pounds in just one week!
I know this journey isn’t about the scale, but it was encouraging to see some physical progress alongside the mental shift.

One Week Down, 68 days to Go
Each day of 75 Hard is a challenge, but also a choice. I’m proud that I chose to show up every single day this week. This first week proved that I can do hard things, even in uncomfortable conditions.
Here’s to the next 68 days—rain or shine.

This made me realize I need to take my mental and physical health seriously too. College stress has had me slacking, but you’ve inspired me to get up and move. I’m gonna start with walking like you did. Day 1 for me starts tomorrow!
You’re glowing from the inside out! I do hair all day and tell my clients it’s about what’s going on inside, not just beauty products. Thanks for leading with authenticity. Keep showing us how strong we can be.
Sis, your post gave me life. I’m fighting battles every day, but your consistency reminds me that discipline is its own form of protest. We deserve to feel good in our bodies. Thank you for this reminder!
