Hey friends! Every season feels like a fresh start to me, but there’s something about fall that just makes me want to reset and realign. Maybe it’s the crisp mornings, the colorful leaves, or the cozy vibes that whisper “new chapter.” Whatever it is, I love taking this time to pause and ask myself: What do I really want to focus on this season?
Earlier this year, I discovered the idea of a personal curriculum. I even created a summer curriculum and loved how it gave me structure without feeling rigid. Think of it like being the dean of your own school of life—you pick the subjects, you choose the homework, and you set the schedule. The best part? Every subject is designed around the things that light you up.
So, for fall 2025, I am creating a syllabus that blends my passions, priorities, and the goals that matter most to me. Here’s what my curriculum looks like this season:

1. Fitness and Strength Training
This class is always on my schedule. My health journey is one of my biggest priorities, and this fall I am starting 75 Soft on September 1, 2025. Unlike 75 Hard, this version is more flexible but still challenges me to stay consistent with fitness, hydration, and reading.
I am pairing it with Pilates YouTube videos, resistance band workouts, and of course my trusty Pacer app to keep me on track with my steps. Walking 10,000 steps a day is non-negotiable, but I am also adding yoga flows in the evenings to wind down. This class is tough but rewarding, and I am ready to graduate with honors!

2. Healthy Cooking and Meal Prepping
My kitchen is my classroom, and fall is the perfect season for experimenting. This year I plan to cook more high-protein meals, make cozy soups with fresh seasonal veggies, and test out easy college-friendly recipes for my kids.
I love finding ways to balance nourishment with flavor. Think spicy turkey chili, roasted butternut squash soup, protein-packed smoothie bowls, and one-pan dinners. If it keeps my family happy, healthy, and full, then I call that an A+.

3. Positivity and Affirmations
One thing that has truly transformed my mornings is daily affirmations. They set the tone for my day and help me show up with peace and purpose. This fall, I am doubling down on journaling each morning and writing new affirmation sets for myself and my family.
I also want to start sharing more affirmations on my blog and socials. Because if they help me, I know they can encourage someone else too. Think of it as extra credit in spreading positivity.

4. Blogging and Writing
Blogging has always been my safe space and creative outlet, but this fall I want to take it up a notch. I will be polishing up my SEO game, experimenting with new writing styles (yes, even ghost stories for spooky season), and making my posts more engaging.
I am also branching into YouTube this season. I plan to test out YouTube Shorts, share behind-the-scenes looks at blogging life, and maybe even explore podcasting. Writing may be my first love, but I am excited to expand my creativity across new platforms.

5. Family Adventures
With Zoey in college and everyone’s schedules packed, I want to be intentional about family time. This fall, I am planning family hikes, movie nights with cocoa and popcorn, and some fun Halloween activities (spooky trivia night, anyone?).
My husband and I are also relaunching our secret pact, which makes this season extra exciting for us as a couple. Little moments like these bring so much joy and remind me why family will always be one of my favorite subjects.

6. Self-Care and Skincare
This fall, self-care is officially on my syllabus. I am committing to consistent skincare routines—retinol creams, hydrating masks, and products that make me feel radiant.
But self-care is more than just beauty. It is bubble baths with jazz music, Sunday afternoon naps, and guilt-free “me time.” I am learning that when I take care of myself, I show up better for everyone else.

7. Entrepreneurship and Learning
Beyond blogging, I’m also expanding into YouTube content creation while continuing to grow my other platforms. This season, I’m treating digital entrepreneurship like my own advanced course—studying content creation strategies, experimenting with TikTok growth hacks and Instagram Stories marketing, and testing new online tools for creators to sharpen my skills.
I want to be fully prepared for every opportunity that comes my way, so I’m embracing this as a hands-on masterclass in creativity, business growth, and social media marketing.

Wrapping It Up
Framing my goals as a personal fall curriculum gives me both structure and flexibility. It helps me focus on the areas that matter most while still leaving room for joy and spontaneity.
This season, I am choosing growth, health, and happiness. I am choosing connection with my family, creativity with my work, and care for myself. Most importantly, I am choosing to live intentionally—one subject at a time.
So, tell me: If you created your own personal curriculum, what classes would be on your syllabus this fall?
🌟 Affirmation for Fall 2025:
“I am the author of my own life. Each day, I choose growth, joy, and purpose. Every season is a new chapter, and this fall, I am writing one filled with balance, love, and abundance.”

I enjoyed reading your article! After Labor Day, I plan on eating healthier because I indulged over the summer. Have to get back to meal prepping and exercising more.
I can’t wait until it cools off here. I’m over the summer heat. I can’t wait to eat soup and make delicious fall treats with my son. I wish that I had the guts to do face videos.
