75 Hard Challenge – Day 7: One Week In and Feeling Strong

75 Hard Challenge Day 7

Sharing is caring!

I made it through the first week of the 75 Hard Challenge—and wow, what a week it’s been!

The week started off with a storm—literally. There was rain, then fog, and finally, on Day 7, sunshine. That burst of light felt symbolic. It reminded me that even when the week is mentally and physically tough, there’s always clarity on the other side if you just keep going.

Despite the weather shifts, I stayed committed. Two workouts a day. A gallon of water. Healthy eating. Reading. Progress photos. No cheats. No excuses.

The Honeymoon Phase

Right now, I’m still in that honeymoon phase of the challenge—feeling motivated, inspired, and excited to show up every day. The habits are slowly forming, and I’m starting to feel the results.

Weight Check-In

Even though I originally told myself I wouldn’t track my weight during the challenge, I decided to sneak a peek… and guess what? I’m down 7 pounds in just one week!

I know this journey isn’t about the scale, but it was encouraging to see some physical progress alongside the mental shift.

One Week Down, 68 days to Go

Each day of 75 Hard is a challenge, but also a choice. I’m proud that I chose to show up every single day this week. This first week proved that I can do hard things, even in uncomfortable conditions.

Here’s to the next 68 days—rain or shine.

  1. As a mom trying to break cycles and set a new example, your honesty meant everything to me. I see myself in your words. I’m on Day 3, and you’ve encouraged me to stay in it. Let’s go, sis!

  2. Girl, I’m right there with you! With four kids and barely any time to myself, your commitment shows me it’s possible. Seven pounds in one week is amazing! Sending support from a busy kitchen in Chicago.

  3. I love how you worked in clean eating without making it sound boring. As someone who enjoys cooking, I’m now inspired to prep meals that align with 75 Hard too. Congrats on the progress—you’re doing amazing!

  4. I wasn’t even looking for a blog like this, but I’m so glad I clicked. I’ve never heard of 75 Hard, but your story pulled me in. Thank you for your openness and honesty. I might give it a try now!

  5. Your story reminded me of how much my family needs me to be my best. I’m going to walk every day like you said—no excuses. That 7 lbs is no joke, congrats! Keep doing your thing.
