Stress

This is one of the most concerning factors of any job these days. Stress releases a hormone called cortisol that can cause harm to the body and mind in the form of suppressed immunity, hypertension, high blood sugar, Insulin resistance, carbohydrate cravings, type 2 diabetes, fat deposits on the face, neck, and belly and reduced libido if present in excess amounts.

High-stress levels, if associated with sudden panic attacks, mood swings, loss of appetite or lack of sleep could even be signs of depression. All these can make a terrible effect on your appearance making you look older and gives you dull complexion.

Stress is unavoidable on many occasions. Almost all the jobs that are demanding are stressful. You should, therefore, be able to prioritize your work and get rid of pity things that are causing you stress. You can read the reviews of nature sleep.

Focus on top 3 or top 5 important tasks during the week; both in you official life and personal life. Organizing and de-cluttering your work and life would help to reduce stress and stay calm and focused.

Reckless diet

A job that doesn’t let you eat peacefully is not the right job. Are you constantly struggling to find time to eat in between your hectic schedule? This may cause a bigger impact on your body than you think. Some jobs are so hectic and demanding that people hardly find time to enjoy a wholesome meal. Some people have to run to office skipping their breakfast while some others eat whatever junk is available readily.

Eating a nutritious meal at timely intervals is the most crucial factor to keep a healthy and youthful body. Lack of healthy diet and excess consumption of junk food can result in weight gain or weight loss, belly fat, acne, wrinkles, too oily or too dry skin and ruin your appearance.

Eating healthy and on time is the solution for this. Find time between hectic schedules to eat healthy, and exercise. It is also important to eat at a particular time every day.

Long hours online

Most of us have a job that requires looking at a computer for long stretches. Sometimes, the work and deadlines would be so intense that we will forget to get up even to attend nature’s call.

I am sure this has happened to all of us at some point in time. But, sitting in the same position while stimulating your brain to the maximum capacity can be harmful. It makes the muscles rigid, eyes saggy, causes iron deficiency, and other serious health issues. It can also make you look older and tired all the time.

Taking breaks between long hours is the best remedy for this. The breaks need not be long. 5 minutes after every one hour would do unbelievable benefits.

Do some light stretching during this period that relaxes all your body muscles especially facial muscles and neck. Go for a quick walk, get some sunshine or just meditate. This will keep your body and mind relaxed for you to keep up your productivity and health.

Lack of “sunshine.”

Imagine this. You are a normal working class human being with a 9 -5 job with no significant outdoor activities. You wake up, eat, get ready for work and commute to work through the car, sit inside an air-conditioned building, back home after the sunset and stay at home.

Do you understand what you are missing here? Sun exposure! Sun rays are an important source of many vitamins and minerals including the mighty Vitamin D. Without enough sun exposure; you will become deficient of vitamin D which will affect your skin health, bone health, and overall wellness.

One thing to do this is to set up specific 15-minute break in the morning and evening to get the sun exposure. If you are talking to someone on the phone, go out and do it. Use your coffee break sessions to take your coffee and a colleague for a stroll of 15 minutes.

Have a light-hearted chit-chat. This will not only help to get your daily dose of vitamin D but will also help to reduce stress and rejuvenate yourself for the coming work hours. On weekends, walk for at least an hour in the morning to expose yourself to the sun. Keep in mind that there is a specific time for this. Ensure to stay away from harmful UV rays and always wear sun screen lotion.
