I’m thrilled to share my transformative weight loss journey with you all. Over the past month, I’ve managed to lose 23 lbs, and I feel better than ever. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, and I hope it inspires you on your own path to health and wellness. Here’s how I achieved this milestone.

Low-Calorie Diet
The cornerstone of my weight loss was adopting a low-calorie diet. I kept my daily caloric intake between 1200 to 1600 calories, ensuring that I consumed nutrient-dense foods that fueled my body. My meals were balanced with a mix of lean proteins, healthy fats, and plenty of vegetables. This approach helped me create a calorie deficit while still providing my body with the essential nutrients it needed to function optimally.
Protein Power
Protein played a crucial role in my diet. I aimed for 135 grams of protein daily, which supported muscle repair, immune function, and hormone regulation. Including high-quality protein sources like chicken, fish, tofu, and legumes helped me stay full longer and maintained my muscle mass even as I lost weight.

Stepping Up My Game
Walking became a significant part of my routine. Over the month, I took a total of 510,902 steps, which equals 201.1 miles! Incorporating walking into my daily activities not only helped me burn calories but also improved my cardiovascular health and boosted my mood. Whether it was strolling through the farmer’s market, taking morning and night walks with my husband, or exploring local walking paths, each step contributed to my success.


Intermittent Fasting
To complement my diet and exercise, I adopted intermittent fasting with a 16:8 fasting window. This meant I fasted for 16 hours and had an 8-hour eating window each day. Intermittent fasting helped regulate my eating patterns, reduced late-night snacking, and supported my weight loss goals by allowing my body more time to burn fat between meals.
Staying Motivated
Staying motivated throughout this journey was key. I found immense support and encouragement from my community on social media, where I tracked my daily steps and shared my progress. Completing the June Challenge on the Pacer app and achieving my step goals each day kept me driven and focused.
