
It’s no secret that staying healthy is essential. Not only does it make us feel good, but it also helps us perform at our best both mentally and physically. Unfortunately, there are many different ways to stay healthy, and it can sometimes be tough to figure out what works best for you and your family. In this blog post, we will discuss four tips on staying healthy and keeping your loved ones safe!

Make sure you’re eating enough fruits and vegetables.
It’s one of the most important things we can do for our health, but many people don’t realize it! The World Health Organization recommends that adults eat at least five portions of fruits and veggies daily (or 400g) to lower their risk of heart disease and cancer, among other things. Not only are fruits and veggies packed with essential vitamins and minerals, but they’re also low in calories and full of fiber which helps us feel fuller longer. So make sure you’re incorporating at least a few servings into your daily diet! Easy ways to do this are adding fresh fruit to your breakfast cereal or oatmeal, packing a salad or piece of fruit for lunch, and cooking up some veggies as a side dish for dinner. If you find yourself struggling to eat enough fruits and veggies, there are plenty of delicious and healthy smoothie recipes out there that can help. Alternatively, some people like herbal teas such as red kratom which is rich in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins.


Exercise regularly.
It’s so important that we get enough exercise in our day-to-day lives, not only to keep fit but also for our mental health. There are many ways to do this:
- Walking or biking instead of driving when possible
- Taking the stairs instead of an elevator
- Getting up every hour at work and stretching
- Going for a quick walk around the office
It’s entirely normal for people to feel like they’re not getting enough exercise in their daily lives. Still, there are many ways we can incorporate more activity into our routines without even realizing it!


Get enough sleep.
This one is often easier said than done, but it’s so important! Most adults need around eight hours of sleep per night, and anything less can negatively affect our health. Not getting enough sleep has been linked to obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, among other things. So make sure you’re getting enough shut-eye every night by going to bed and waking up at the same time each day (even on weekends!), avoiding caffeine and alcohol before bedtime, shutting off all electronics screens an hour before bedtime, and using a noise machine or earplugs if needed.

When it comes to keeping your family healthy, all of these aspects are important. I never realized how much sleep effects health!!
Great tips! My dad would always say, a family that eats together, prays together, have fun together, exercise together, STAYS together! We always try to eat and live healthy 🙂
